Japan Nara Traditional Craft “Kaya Weave” Dish cloth
Kaya weave is a traditional textile from Nara, Japan, originally used for mosquito nets that allow air to pass through while keeping insects out. It features a loose weave and lightweight texture, offering excellent breathability and practicality.
This dishcloth is made from five layers of cotton kaya weave fabric stitched together. With continued use, it becomes increasingly soft to the touch. Highly absorbent and durable, it is designed for long-lasting, repeated use—an everyday essential that combines functionality with refined craftsmanship.
